To
meet the requirements of different sections of Industrial, Mining and
Construction
of the country, in the field of compressed air, the first and the
largest producer of various types of Air Compressors and Pneumatic
tools, "COMPIDRO" was registered in Iran in 1975.The factory
has been set up in 90.000 SQ meters in Tabriz , north western of
the country.
From
the beginning of 1977, the company was put into operation and as
of 1982 the name of "COMPIDRO" was changed to
"Compressor Sazi Tabriz (CST)" and finally switched to
public from joint stock and enterd into Stock Exchange. Its
capital is now 18,000,000,000 Rails.

has started to design and manufacture different
types of compressors
under license of
CompAir
and
Ingersollrand which are
well-known companies worldwide.
The
R&D section of Engineering Department is dealing with the most
reliable companies, using the latest technologies. The products of
the company, including stationary, Portable and Tractor mounted
compressors, as well as pneumatic tools are carefully checked and
tested by our Q.C department prior to be distributed in the local
market and exported to abroad.
To
enter into the world market and to pursue the goal of self-sufficiency, we designed and
produced Gas Control Systems for Iranian Telecommunications Company, which has been
carried out for
the first time in Iran.
The
company is now running by 215 employees and has been Privatized
since
July 2004.
